I have been running here and there since morning. Send my mom off to her friend's house then head to work. Attended a morning meeting then rushing for some deadlines. Climbing the stairs up and down countless times today dealing with business people (oh yeah, that's my workout) .... if my body shows a battery percentage like our phone does, I would receive a notification, 20 percent left, 10 percent left .... haha I was running low by the end of the day ...
So yeah, long day.
If I this is what I feel, I don't know how the big bosses do. They have to go micro and monitor everyone in the department, and at the same time they have to go macro and plan the business direction and development. But then again, nothing is ever easy. Everything comes with a challenge so that we grow as a person.
But you know what helped me sorting stuffs out? Writing it all down on paper. I haven't been writing much ever since university because all I do everyday is type. Let's face it, I'm a programmer. Plus, everyone has gone paperless now even school kids use laptop during classes. Unless you have problem with this generation! Because of that, my handwriting has gone really really bad that I start judging myself for reading it fracker instead of tracker.
Ugly handwriting aside, my tasks suddenly became so clear now that I can plan everything in advance and managed to finish everything in time without any hair being pulled or any friends innocently get yelled at. Everything has a solution and in this case, all that we have to do is, take a deep breath and write down our tasks. And apologize to your friend for yelling at them.
The moment I got home, I turn on my laptop and put F.R.I.E.N.D.S on, go to the kitchen cabinet, take my chocolate chip cookies out, go to the freezer and take my Wall's pint out then sunk into my pillows on my bed. My sister saw and came to my room to check out, and just looking at me ...... blankly. I know in her head she was counting the calories so I said " What? I don't care I deserve this today ".
We all gotta reward ourselves sometimes.
