As usual every Raya morning, my mom would go "Wake upppp, wake uppp nowww!! Help me prepare the food." early in the morning and my sister Uyul with eyes still close, would reach for Ayin next to her "Kak Yin, bangun laaa Raya dah nii" and then wraps herself with blanket.

Waste of time.
Every Raya morning we will have breakfast together and by breakfast I meant, lemang ketupat with beef and chicken rendang plus lontong with nasi impit and ohh so many food la okay Yummmms!
Before we head out to visit our late family members, we will first ask forgiveness from our parents. For kids, this would mean duit raya! *sigh I was never like that when I was a kid ahem
Umi, for everything you have done to make me who I am today, thanks so much. Please forgive me if my actions or my words ever hurt you in any way, I am so playful sometimes I don't even realize :'(

Along, I'm sorry I get angry when you use my bathroom & flood my room with your wet hair. I am also sorry for screaming at you every time you leave your wet towels on my bed. It's just so hard to clean it up! I'm sorry for all that and please also forgive me for the next millions time because I know you will do it again and I will still get angry every time. You might as well forgive me all in advance. Hehe.
I still love you no matter what and I am thankful to have you as an elder brother .... this sounds better, can I have my duit raya now?
