first of 2016

First of all, I am truly sorry that I haven't been updating this blog. Please accept my apology, my dear readers. All six of you.

Second of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!! How was your new year celebration? Well I went to bed at 11pm on new year's eve. Err... yeah, I'm a grandma who's rather be cuddling under my blanket then out in the crowd.

Anyway, it is the 18th day of 2016 now and how's it going with you guys? New year resolutions still going strong? Don't lieeee! Diet plan destroyed on the 2nd day, right? That makes all of us, hehe.

My resolutions? Well, told myself to stop making those lies every year so yeah, no specific resolutions but we're all learning and growing every day. I've learned a lot in 2015. Made some really happy memories; I made some new friends, gained new knowledge, visited new places. And some unhappy ones too, but you know how they say - that only depends on how we choose to look at them. Experience is what makes us who we are.

I am so excited for 2016! I told myself that I wanna be more open to taking chances, be more spontaneous, feel the moment. Therefore, instead of having to commit myself to some resolutions I know I'm never gonna do (like start eating vegetables hahahahahaha I know, I laughed too!), so I decided to wave goodbye instead. Let us all do it, shall we?

Wave goodbye to moments we weren't so proud of. We are all humans, we make mistake and hopefully we learn from it.

Wave goodbye to the painful times that made us cry so much. Let's give ourselves a pat on the shoulder and be proud that we overcame them and survived.

Wave goodbye to the people who underestimated us, who didn't trust in us, who made us think less of ourselves. Keep our focus on the ones who actually care for us. These people belittle others because they want to feel good about themselves. Kiss these people goodbye as they don't deserve the good of us.

Wave goodbye to the less immature us. There is no need to beat ourselves up over it but take it as a humble experience and move on with our life. These moments happened to show us that we are not perfect. We are a work in progress and still learning how to live.

Wave goodbye to the chances we didn't take, the trip we didn't go, the invitation we missed. Things will not always go as we planned and we do not need to carry the guilt on our shoulder forever. We have to accept the fact that some things are out of our control.

Finally, wave goodbye to the thought that the new year doesn't change anything in our lives! We are the CEO of our lives. If we want it different, it will be different. Let's say hello to all the wonderful chances, amazing experience, and unexpected moments awaits in 2016!
