Nash and I have decided on a our nikah and reception date. We have been surveying around for our reception venue.
I have been dreaming of this moment for years now. The place where Nash and I will be getting married. The place that will forever be in our memories. I know I'm gonna love doing this part of wedding work but boyyyy, there's so many things to do!
Deciding on a date was already tough enough. I don't wanna bore you with the details but let's just say that I was back and forth between 2 dates. Both our parents were pressuring us to pick a date already so long story short, we picked a date! Yeayy! One headache gone. Or not? Sigh, I tend to overthink.
Nash has been tagging me on those wedding packages people shared in Facebook. Then afterwards, he would call or text me asking if I have asked for the quotations from the contacts. His timing was bad because I was busy with a couple of work things too, I haven't had the chance to check Facebook yet.
Dude, you're not helping.
Bridezilla mode on, what to do.
Weeks past and we still haven't really made any progress on the venue. Till we found out there was this wedding fair happening at Midvalley Exhibition Hall. On its first day of the event, we both made time and be the first couple registered in! Haha we're efficient like that. It was a good thing we came early in the morning because the crowd was less! Ahhh, it was very breezy I can sit and discuss very comfortably ... while Nash food-tasting every catering food. Xcuse me I don't know this guy.
At the end of that day, we shortlisted our options to two packages we like the most. I have one on my left hand and the other on my right hand. I showed it to Nash ...
"So, of these two, which one do you like best?"
"I'm okay with both"
"I know, but we have to pick one. Which would you pick?"
"Umm, this one?" while his eyes looking at my face expression to see if I have the same choice in mind. I was expressionless. "No, this .... one?" pointing to my right hand now. Still expressionless. "Babyyy I don't know, you pick!"
"Just say which one you like better"
"I'm okay with either one but I don't know what you like. You with the lighting, the carpet, color of the wall, chiavary not chiavary, how do I know?
I'm the groom, I just need to come and do the akad.
Make sure I say the right name."

Very funny.
At last, we decided on a package (after a longggg discussion with Nash) so I contact the wedding planner to book.
"Hi, we've confirmed. Could you reserve the date for us, please?"
"Sure, bride's name please?"
"Azrah Aishah"
"Groom's name?"
I look at Nash. Hmm.
"Groom's name is still pending."

Don't mess with a bride! *evil laugh*
