bride's worst nightmare

We have booked a hall for our reception dinner but I didn’t realize that Nash’s parents have prepared another intimate dinner for family and close friends. It was arranged weeks earlier than our reception date.

They told Nash about it but Nash completely forgot to tell me till the very day. I was on scene in shocked as I had nothing prepared for it. Event was starting and people began walking into the hall BUT me on the other side, have no dress for it, hair is a mess, no make-up, no shoes, nothing!
I was running around panicking not knowing what to do. Nash gotta calm me down and told me to take a deep breath.

When I’m finally thinking, we immediately zoomed into a car and off we go out of the event place to get what we need to get. Whilst in the hall, the emcee of the reception has already announced the arrival of bride and groom. WHAT THE HELL?! Dude, I am not walking down the aisle wearing a ripped jeans and a crop top that says ‘nerd’ on it.

Back to us in the car, we drove around and found a bridal boutique nearby. We quickly zoomed out of the car, climbed up the stairs to the first floor where the boutique’s located. Totally ignored the elevator that seems too slow right this moment. I walked up the stairs so fast, might have skipped one or two steps at a time. Hero! The most exercise I have done in a few months.

I picked a few that I like and quickly try it on. “Gotta move fast, gotta move fast” I kept chanting.  Did I mention my phone keeps ringing and beeping but I completely ignored them all?

TOO. STRESSFUL. CANNOT. HANDLE. IT.

Right this moment I have about 200 guests waiting at their tables for the bride and groom to make an entrance. So no, no time to answer phone. I am on a mission.

After what seems like a hundredth dress I’ve tried on but nothing fits, I’m starting to lose hope. I was very sad, I can’t hold it in any longer. "It's ruined. Everything's ruined."

I fell on my knees on the floor sobbing like mad. Where did Nash go at this time, I had no idea.

With whatever strength I have left, I tried to stand up because I know now it’s not the time to give up. It’s my big day, I supposed to feel like a princess today! It felt like there was a 100kg burden on my back, that took me a long time to stand up. When I’m finally back on my feet, suddenly my view turned dark. I fall flat to the ground.

!!!!!!!!!!!!
