wedding card

I haven't been updating my blog *cries a river* when all I want to do is write. I'm not gonna lie saying that I don't have the time. If it's a priority you'll make time for it, right? I have lots of new books I bought earlier this year so I've been reading in my free time. And  also, a huge distraction, this PLANTS VS ZOMBIES game! ZOMBIES TRYING TO INVADE MY PROPERTY, GUYS! I can't let that happen. Uh-uh no way! Azrah - 1, Zombie - 0.

If there's a chance zombies apocalypse coming, you know who to look for now. Ok, just joking! On a more serious note, I have been busy with wedding prep aside from work. I said I wanted to have the journey jotted down in my blog but I haven't been doing that. So let's! I am excited because I have so much to write!

Let's start with my wedding card. It took me awhile to choose the wedding card design that I like. Had to browse through many websites, Instagram accounts, blogs, and suggestions from a couple of friends.

I didn't need it to be too fancy because I would rather have the money be spent on food (or my wedding dress). I still do care how the invitation card looks (come on its me, everything has to be pretty) but I wanted it simple and nice.

So we finally settled on a design! Tadaaa ~

This is only the step 1, guys. We're far from done.

Step 2, the writing. Our parents requested for a Malay and English version so we were back and forth with the spelling check. The Malay version was straight forward but the English version was a bit tricky.

Request the pleasure of your company to celebrate "their" wedding? or "our child's " wedding? Both doesn't sound right. Or "our son's" wedding? Since the left side is Nash's parents name. Our son's sounds better. But there is no "our new daughter", I'm hurt a little.

The back and forth with the amendments, fuhh *wipes sweat. Kudos to my wedding card team for being very patience attending to every change I requested. Not enough with email, this bride had to boss them around on whatsapp too.

More amendments guys, more amendments.

Alignment, oh no. I can't sleep at night knowing my wedding card left and right hand sides ARE NOT ALIGNED. The worst has happened. Takboleh jadi ni....

Had to make that oh coincidentally I'll be nearby your studio for a meeting so I'll drop by excuse. Hehehe. Wasn't obvious, was it? Ok don't answer that.

Then later I dropped by their studio and use their laptop like it was my own (no shame whatsoever slap me please) And off course, I get the work done! I'm efficient like that.

*flips hair *puts on sunglasses *walks out proud
