Pergi mana tu?
Well not recently. I haven’t been writing, so here I am trying to recall all the important
activities since the last update. I have the memories strong in my head
but you know la, a lot has happened since the last couple of months especially,
so … the details of each activity are a bit hazy haha.
Nash and I, we went to Jakel with both our moms to buy
fabrics for our families and our solemnization outfit. First, we have to decide
on the theme color of the family. I left the decision to my mom and my sisters,
after all they’re gonna be wearing the color. I’m okay with whatever color they
want to choose …. as long as they’re not white! Thought this would be the
easiest task of all. You know, just need to pick two colors, one is for the
family to wear for our nikah event and another one for the reception event.
But my oh my, there’s no such thing as an easy task because
1) there’s literally hundreds of options to choose from, 2) I have 4 sisters which
means 4 girls opinions there and 3) I have my mom!
My mom lovesssss red. Maroon Red, to be exact. The color of
human’s heart, she said. If she can have everything in the house red, she
would. It’ll be ugly, but she would. Heck, she would paint the world red.
And then there’s my 4 sisters, whose each has their own fav
color. I wanna pull my hair out already!
Told them to discuss and choose the color for like a month
ago. So when I asked today, “What color
for the nikah event?”
“Salmon color.”
“Alright. For
reception?”
Silence.
I look at my sisters.
They look at each other.
“Still not decided?!”
One wants pastel green, one wants dusty pink, one wants
emerald green, and you know what my mom wants. *Pung pang pung pang* after
about half an hour, they finally settled (*pung pang = if there’s a music
background during the discussion, that would be it).
So what’s the theme color for reception? MAROON RED. That
means, mom won the argument. Helloo, mom always wins! At least in my house
#momrulesall #theresnoarguingwithher #mrsalwaysright
Both our moms picked the color and the fabrics that they
want. Jakel’s staffs are very attentive and helpful. They don’t leave our sides
since we arrived till we're at the payment counter. Which was good because we really
needed the help, with all kinds of fabric and colors there we could totally be
drowning in options. And there were happy hour sales on going as well, we could
have forgotten the real objective we came. HAHA, womens biggest problem.

We spent a good 3 – 4 hours in there and left with
everything we need, and more! HAHA, told ya.
Eh, how are these two goons in the photo? Ahh, they must
have followed as well. See, little details are a bit hazy! Less important details these two anyway muahahaha!
