Reunion Story: Day 1

I have written an entry of my reunion previously. Click here. But there were some of my friends who couldn't come to the reunion requested me to write more for them. Write every details of the two days down to the bit, so that they are not missing out on anything and it will make them feel like they were there with us all.

Alright!

So where did I left off? What have I told and what I haven't?

The traffic jams on the way, check.
The homestay, check.
The bbq, check.
The karaoke, umm?

Oh, right! Before the karaoke, right after the bbq dinner, we had our little ice breaking session.

We all catching up on each other. Each of us take turns updating everyone about our lives, what we have been doing for the past years and bla bla bla.

Catching up, huh? Sounds easy.

You think so?

No. Catching up session could be pretty tense for some people. Especially when those judgmental eyes looking at you waiting for your update.

"Oh you work in the departmental store? That's sweet. Nothing like me though. I am quite a celebrity here"

-_______-

See guys, that's how tensed reunion could be. Believe it or not, life is a competition. So I'm not surprised if some of you never show up to any of your reunion.

But seriously, what do you say to someone you haven't seen for ages. You don't just go and ask..

"hey dude, how are you? Still a jerk?"

Lol.

Okay anyways, our catching up session went pretty good. None like what I just said above. Saves me the drama, thank God! We all sit at the same table, girls next to each other, guys next to each other, the girls look at the guys, the guys look at the girls...

*awkward silence

It was a little awkward for first few hours. We ask politely, we smile politely, we joke politely.

After 8 years we have been dead to each other (not literally), I noticed the questions that popped were circled around the same thing.

"Are you working? Or still studying?"

"Wow you're pursuing your Master now. You do the same course. That's good! Err, what course are you  taking again?"

"Oh working. What kind of work you're doing?"

"You work with Dell. Good company. Can I get a free laptop?"

See! It was fun catching up........ at first.

Then I get bored.

HAHAHA don't blame me! The conversation went off topic you lost my interest!

So, I say, to the karaoke !!

Who is that girl in red gets all excited with karaoke? I dont know her :P

Haha

See, we are friends again! We found the bond in between the karaoke :P Who stopped the ice breaking session and suggested this karaoke at the first place? Ehem. *flips hair

We sang together, we took pictures, we teased each other, we laughed so hard, we played with Ieka's daughter, it was so much fun!

And then ..... I run out of things to do. I started to touch everything on the table.

Okay now really, I dont know this girl.

HAHAHA

What?! I have always wanted to touch that tuner thing. The DJ always looks so cool act all macho pushing the buttons up and down. I can do that too. See I look professional, no?

NO.

Ish.

P/S: Guys, I couldn't put all 2 day event in this post. I will write another entry for Day 2 for you yeah? stay tuned!
