I love giving compliments to people. I compliment people all the time to make the world a happier place to live in. Hahaha
You know what I notice?
Every time I compliment people, they would go "Ahh noo I'm not bla bla bla" denying the compliment I gave.
I just don't like it when they go "Ahh noo I'm not bla bla bla" because I have to compliment them again with another solid reason that requires me to think which is so difficult if only you know it. So just shut up and say thank you, will you?
What? I don't do that. I always just simply say thanks to a compliment. Ehem..okay moving on..
To be fair, I don't think they ever meant to deny the compliments. They probably feel pretty good about it inside but trying to be humble. Or maybe they just don't know how to respond to compliments, make them feel going "Ahh no I'm not bla bla bla" is so much easier way to accept the compliments.
But really, I think by just saying "Thank you, I appreciate that" or "Thanks, you look good too today" would make the person giving the compliments feel good that they made you feel good.
Say thanks, okay peeps?
