waterfall picnic

I just had the most spontaneous family picnic ever. Well, actually it was just me and my 2 sisters. The rest weren't around last Sunday.

We woke up late at about 11am. My sister suddenly came up with the idea to go to this Tekala waterfall which I wasn't so thrilled about because .... the water is so freaking cold! Considering this waterfall picnic idea has come up few times before and I always turn them around, I guess it wouldn't hurt to go. Obviously my kinda picnic is usually by the beach or in the evening by the park, well one that doesn't involve freezing in the cold water or going into the woods. Listen to me, being all fancy bahahahaha.

Since it was an unplanned picnic, so I only managed to prepare fried rice while my sisters packing up their clothes. I am the kind of a person who would always try to plan everything ahead and wants things to go the way I planned it. If I knew I would be going for a picnic I would have everything planned out from when to go, what to eat, what to buy, when to cook to what to do.

I don't usually do things on the spur of the moment but I gotta admit that it feels nice to sometimes do things spontaneously because it brings the family closer. It gives us the opportunity to work together as a team and break away from our family routine - from this bossy sister as how my sister put it.

You must think that I don't bother jumping into the nice cold water. No sir, you are mistaken. I got myself wet .. till about ankle length. Hehehehe

I'm not such a diva, allergies to the woods or what not, I am an adventurous person okay. Helloo, I survived 3months in PLKN. Although I remember I didn't shower because the boys were at the upstream of the river and who would know what were the guys doing in the river and the same water downstream to the girls, okay let's not go into that, the point is, I survived the woods!

If you ask me, this waterfall picnic is like a treat - something my sisters couldn't get me to agree often!
