30 before 30

It's the end of the year 2013. Can you believe it? How time flies before our eyes. I just turned 24 this month and I'm gonna be 25 next year! *sweats I am not growing any younger so I have always wanted to cherish everyday of my life which I know everyone else does too. Right after university, I had few things on my mind I wanted to do/have by the time I get stable with working life as well as personal life. Things like, get my own car, take my family out for a vacation, buy my first designer handbag, get my first ALDO shoes, start taking a good care of my hair, monthly subscription to Conan comics, buy a roller-skate, ahem bla bla bla you know, adult stuffs. Yes, important adult stuffs okay. I have fulfilled some, I haven't even started some! Ish.

So it's time to refresh my list! Here we go, 30 things I want to do/have before I turn 30. The ones being crossed off are completed. Yay me!

1. Travel the world
There are lots of ways to travel cheap nowadays, so there is no reason not to travel the world as much as I can. Just need to find time off from work and take .... wait, oh that's the reason! Okay okay, find time to travel.

2. Face my fear of heights
I am so so so super scared of heights! No kidding. But but, I once went for a skydiving! So proud of myself! Hehehehe! Read it here. I can now cross this off my list! Sure, it was an indoor skydiving, still counts okay! Considering how much I hate heights.

3. Sign up for a class
I suck at dancing so probably dancing class? Oh oh I know! Breakdance class ..... wohooo!! .... Err, no?

4. Ditch things and people
Don't take me wrong. I believe that happiness is a choice. There are people so called friends around us are only there with us when they need something from us. There are backstabbers out there dying to see us fall. These are the people who have crossed the line and it's time to shut the doors on them. It's time to take a good look at everyone around us and keep the ones that are worth keeping. It's time to be happy.

5. Sing in front of a crowd
I performed duet with a friend during company's dinner! Can you believe my confidence level? C'mon now be proud of me. Hehe. Well, my list didn't say it has to be a good performance so, done! Pssst, I got so nervous I forgot the lyrics. It was so bad, guys. Never ever. Ever!

6. Secure a second income
I tried selling clothes online but I didn't order anymore stock after I got the first batch sold. With my day job as an engineer, I didn't have the time to go Post Office for the posting, to squeeze some time to reply customer messages, to find time after work to update the website, etc. I shall start again once I get everything thorough.

7. Learn how to drive a manual car
Done and done! Ahh, so easy. What else you got? Haha!

8. Take care of my body
I really really need to get back in shape! I need to start taking healthy food and keep my regular exercise. I have started going to the gym now and let's see how it goes. For now, keep this point in the list.

9. Go to a live concert
I have never been to a concert before. What? Whaaat? Yes, I have never. Someone please take me?

10. Do my own scrapbook
I am not that good to be making money out of this, but I think I'm quite creative and most importantly, I love scrapping, writing and doing collages. I just need to find time to get my shit together, you know. I will, one day.

11. Learn DIY
As I mentioned on above point, I love these things. I adore people who spend their time to do things on their own.Not only you save a lot of money, the satisfaction you get when you do it yourself is priceless. I see a trend of people decorating their own party and wedding now.

12. Host a dinner party
If I wasn't an engineer, I would have chosen party planning for a career. It is so much fun and most importantly, I lovee planning party and events. Great party, great food. What's not to love? Hehe.

13. Learn how to cook
Well, before I start hosting any party, or before people get diarrhea from my party, I better get my ass off to a cooking class. Bye.

14. Watch a stage play
I have always wanted to watch a play. I once went for my friend's play in Bangi. They were no celebrities but I think they are really good. Definitely good enough that I cross off this point. Anyway, I like watching stage play and I foresee me going for more in future.

15. Get my own place
I can't wait to own a place of my own. I can't wait to shop the furniture most importantly!

16. Learn how to do my make up
I don't always make up and I ain't good at it. When I have to go for a big events that I have to put on make up, I normally just do it the way I feel right. Whether it is the right way to do it or not, don't ask me. Okay I should youtube some tips, soon. Soon? Ya, right.

17. Explore my own country
I have never stayed out of KL-Selangor my whole life. I really thanked Geography subject that I now know the places name around Malaysia. Sheesh. I really need to explore my country more. Maybe go on a roadtrip or something. I haven't even been to Langkawi yet. Please don't judge me.

18. Ride a motorbike
It would be really really cool if I can have a motorbike of my own. But that would require me to get a difference licence, I think? Fine, if I can't have I would really really want to at least ride it one day. Even just for a 5 minutes.

19. Learn how to change a flat tire
It hit me when my friend got stuck in the highway for 1 hour waiting for her husband to come because she didn't know how to change her flat tire. Okay this now comes as first in the extremely important to-do list !

20. Read more
I used to read when I was in university during my free time. Now that I am working I can't seem to tell when was the last time I read a book. Reading is good and I have started reading again now. In a way, it helps me with my vocabulary.

21. Play an instrument
I really wanna play instruments like piano, guitar, violin, drums or even trumpets. I wanna be able to play at least one instrument. I haven't decided which one, let's see.

22. Get myself insured
I didn't have a life insurance and end up paying a lot of money when I was admitted for dengue last time. Lesson learned that we should never take this kind of things lightly. You'll never realize when it happens and by the time you do, it's probably too late. I bought myself a life insurance first thing I start earning my own money.

23. Find a new hobby
Found it. Writing it right now :)

24. Do a volunteer job
I am so grateful with everything I have now. I thank God for blessing me with so much. I would love to spend a day of my life giving back.

25. Learn to bake better
I do bake but there are still so many I have to learn. I can bake cakes, no problem but seriously, I really really need to learn how to decorate the cakes. I hate my brother. It tastes better than it looks okay! What happen to don't judge a book by its cover? Hmmphh!

26. Have my dream closet
Omg, the ultimate dream. I have it sketched in my head since forever. Just wait till I own a place.

27. More adventurous activities
My kind of adventurous activities okay, my kind. Not yours. That means, nothing involves heights. No more skydiving, no roller coasters ride, no genting's SoleroShot, and NO bungee jump. NO, no. Probably water rafting or ATV ride, that sounds fun. Oh oh, shooting range! I so wanna do that!

28. Have a portrait of myself
What? I want one, alright.

29. Watch Titanic till the end
Hahahahahaha! Believe it or not, I've never have the chance to get myself to sit for the whole 2 hour. Till now, I can't tell the plot of the movie. Funny story, I actually watched the movie in cinema when it was first released. I was 9years old, my uncle took me with him to the cinema. I was too young to know what movie was that and now that I have seen the movie (well, parts of it) I know it was Titanic. I remember my uncle covered my eyes with his hands during certain scenes. Wonder what that was? Hehehe.

30. Get married
Oh God please please pleaseee let me get married before I turn 30.

Please. Okay that wraps up my 30 before 30 list. If you do have your own too, I wish you best of luck finishing your list (do not cheat. Hehe) and live your life to the max! Happy new year, people! Wishing you the best year ahead!
