secret santa party

We had our Secret Santa Party last week at Padi House, Sri Petaling.

Woww, the party looks exciting, isn't it? There's balloons, there's dress code, there's santa's hat, there's name card with everyone's name printed on it, there's chocolate bar with custom Xmas wrapper neatly placed on the table,  there's candy, and there's gifts! Wow, just wow. Bravo to the party organizer. Who's the party organizer, anyway?

Me! Me, it was me! Hehe

That's right, I pull the party off single handed-ly. Vithya is gonna kill me when she reads this haha! I bought so many balloons but how genius am I that I forgot to bring the balloons pump. My friend Vithya, the Balloons Lover to the rescue, she actually blows each one of the balloons. Salute! Although I don't understand her obsession towards balloons. But then again, I don't understand her obsession towards anything - she's crazy towards teddy-bear too.

I'm sure you all know what Secret Santa is. You have your name written on a piece of paper and shuffle together with everyone else, so no one knows which is who. Then you have to pick one paper and make sure it is not your name. If it is, you just gotta have to re-shuffle again till no one gets their own name. Once you pick the name, you will be the Secret Santa of that person. You will have to buy a Xmas present for him/her.

To make it more interesting, I created a little game called "Who's your Secret Santa?". This is how it works, I distributed an envelope to each and everyone of them and they will have to write a clue/description of themselves on a piece of paper and slip it into the envelope. Then they will have to write the name they picked on the envelope to be passed on to that person during the lunch party.

It was really funny to see all kinds of clues and descriptions everyone put in the envelope and even hilarious to see them trying to guess their Secret Santa.

On the party day, I was really rushing to reach the venue before everyone else that I forgot to do my envelope. All I can think off on that second was ...

I am your Secret Santa. Guess who am I? I'll give you a clue - I don't eat green stuffs.

Duh.

-_______-"

That's my clue. The only clue I can think of. The one thing everyone knows about me. So silly. I can come out with #12 facts about me but couldn't think of one clue to put into the envelope *slaps forehead

I remember opening an envelope with puzzles inside and some drawings, there was a series of codes as well. How did they even come out with those? I am so happy that everyone was really cooperating and put an effort to buy very thoughtful presents for everyone.

I can safely say everyone really enjoyed everyone's company and the party was a success!

With this Red & Green dress code we were definitely the center of attraction everywhere we go that day. A friend spotted me from far and yell "Hey Xmas tree!".

Urgh. #FriendshipOver!

I love this crazy bunch!

  1. This looks like a really fun Christmas party. We had the secret Santa game too, and I got four tickets for a New Year release (Yay!). I decided to give a marvel comic book set to a friend who just loves those. We celebrated in one of the Seattle venues and it was fun party like yours.
