Rough day at work today, but a bit satisfied that I solved one issue.
I am now laying down on my bed relaxing myself. I grab my Iphone and started playing Candy Crush. Is it still cool, now? I'm stuck at level 311 since forever.
I got bored after few mins and started cleaning up my Iphone. Put the games app into their folder, get rid of other apps that I don't use anymore, like the fitness app. I used it to record whatever I eat for a day and and it will calculate the calories I consume from the food, then later in the evening I will record whatever exercise I do then the app will deduct the calories accordingly. I was consistent for like a week, keep jotting it down in the phone after my every meal. Then the following week, I still do but I struggle to remember what I eat yesterday, and the day before, and the day before and the day before. Haha! No use if you open the app on Friday to update what you eat on Monday. So..delete...delete...delete.
I started going through the photos on my Iphone and I stumbled upon this picture of me.
No, I wasn't riding any motorbike. That would so embarrassing to ride around in this pink uniform. Haha! Actually, I went for a skydiving. Yes, you heard it right. Azrah, the girl who will never ever ride the roller coaster in Universal Studio, but went for a skydiving! Oh-Em-Jay!
Okay fine, there was neither a plane nor a helicopter involved. There was a place called SkyVenture in Genting Highlands that offers a skydiving experience. They have a vertical wind tunnel built indoors.

I was so excited to know about it because, you know, for someone who likes adventure but fear of heights, you can never count on them to jump off a plane. If I tell you that I was gonna commit suicide, don't ever look for me on top of the KLCC building. That would be a waste of time. I would probably be just in my room and might have drank the rat poison as you realize. Ish, what the heck am I talking? No, I would never do any of that.
Back to skydiving. Yeap, thay had to give me this ugly pink uniform to wear.

Ready to board! Weehooooooo!! *okay nervous actually*

I don't have a picture of me in the tunnel because we have left all our stuffs in the locker before we enter the tunnel area. Plus, they have a very strict no cameras policy within the tunnel area. I personally think they want people to pay for their photography service. Lol

Because I don't have my own picture, I thought I could just show you how the skydiving experience looks like in the tunnel area. This is a picture form their website.
No, we can't go in together in a group like this. These are professionals trying to demo to people when they first opened couple of years back.
The instructor gave us a short training, then Nash went in first while me waiting outside the tunnel patiently....or nervously to be exact. I was so nervous!! The tunnel looks very dangerous circled with steel around it. What if I fall down? What if the wind push me to the wall? What if I couldn't stand the wind's pressure? What if this? What if that? I had so many things going through my head.
The pressure of the wind was so high that it made Nash flew high the second he lays his body forward. Of course, there was an instructor in the tunnel too to guide us on it. I looked at Nash's face blown by the wind, it made him looked like he was in pain. Which made me even more nervous!! I had half my mind thinking " Crap! What did I just got myself into ?! ".
Nash was done with his first trial after few mins. He walked out of the tunnel smiling at my freaked out face. I told him that I changed my mind that I don't wanna do it anymore. Nash convinced me to just give it a try since we are already here. Well, since we already paid.
Okay, I can do this. I can do this. Keep repeating that in my head. I closed my eyes, the wind blow hard, the instructor pulled my body forward, when I opened my eyes, I was like 30 feet from the ground!! It wasn't as hard as I thought but of course, I keep the instructor close to me. Hehe. During the training, the instructor briefed us on certain sign language like thumbs up if you can handle it, thumbs down if you cant stand the pressure or wanna get out, palms open wide, chin up and few others. I paid attention but I was nervous okay, so every time the instructor sees that I'm getting comfortable, he gives me a thumbs up that he'll go down and let me fly alone up there, I automatically wide open my eyes and shake my head fast! As a don't-you-dare-leave-me-all-alone-up-here sign. I forgot all about the thumbs down. Can't blame my nervousness, can you.
After few mins, I was done with my first trial. Phew! I walked out of the tunnel giving Nash a look. " Told ya I can do it " Haha.
We were up for our 2nd session. I saw Nash flew really high this time. Pfftt he thinks he's a pro now. Then came my turn next. I enjoyed the second session even more. I flew up and down, going in circle, hmm so....this is how the superman feels like. Pretty awesome. Hehe!
When we finished, they handed us this certificate! Woohooo I have a cert in skydiving now!

Skydiving, check! Heh, wasn't that hard. I can do it in my sleep now. What else you got? Bungee jump? Pfftt.
